VI Party2022

Blessed Trinity hosted a Christmas party for the visually impaired with a visit from Father Christmas.

Visually Impaired Teaching Assistant Sally Harker organised the event, working with Inclusion Solutions, a special educational needs service.

Around 30 children, from primary and secondary schools, attended with their TAs or parents.

"It was a good afternoon," said Sally. "We played party games and generally had fun.

"Being visually impaired can be limiting at times as the children usually need to go somewhere with someone but this was a chance for them all to socialise together and make friends outside of their schools."

Thank you to Marks and Spencer's, The Works in Burnley and Beech's Butchers for supporting the event.
