Grade: Grade 6, Points 11 - 19 £22,129 - £25,927 (FTE) £19,606.85 - £22,971.97 (pro-rata)

Working Pattern: 37hpw Monday – Friday 08.15am – 16.15pm (Term Time plus 2 week)

 

Blessed Trinity RC College is a busy, over-subscribed, 1250 place 11-16 establishment. We have an amazing, purpose built school, enabling us to provide the very best teaching and learning opportunities within a bright, modern facility.

The school is located in extensive grounds and is situated close to Burnley Town Centre. The school is easily accessed from across the region by bus, train and car and is located just a five-minute drive from the M65, Junction 10.

The Board of Directors of the Romero Catholic Academy trust alongside the Local Governing Body of Blessed Trinity RC College wish to appoint a methodical, organised and efficient individual to join the team as an Examinations Officer. The Examinations Officer plays a pivotal role in school in the administration, management and conducting of examinations. With excellent attention to detail, you will manage and organise all internal and external examinations in accordance with Awarding Bodies’ regulations and guidance; and assist with school examinations as appropriate.

The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge of conducting public examinations, demonstrate excellent organisational skills and be an experienced user of SIMS, including Exam Organiser.

• has flexibility in working hours, especially during exam periods;

• has excellent communication skills;

• has excellent organisational and planning skills;

• has the ability to manage and lead a team of Exam Invigilators;

• has the ability to adapt and prioritise;

• is able to work in a pressurised and demanding role;

• is able to promote a safe, well-maintained environment for pupils, staff and visitors;

• Is able to work as part of a team.
