Blessed Trinity students Robbie and Jenson represented their school in the English Fell Championships in Settle.

Both in Year Seven, Robbie ran to an amazing seventh place  -  and this was even after taking a bad tumble, hurting his knee, and then losing a shoe halfway around and bruising his toe.

Jenson came 23rd in a tough field as he battled to overcome an injured heel.

Both run for Clayton-Le-Moors Harriers, taking part in track, road and fell events for their club.

"I was proud to finish seventh," said Robbie. "It was tough but I enjoyed it."

Jenson said: "It was a hard course and I had been suffering with a sore heel which was made worse on a rock during the race but it was great to take part in such a big event."
