Blessed Trinity's Year Eight pupils took part in Faith Trails.

The Faith Trails are in collaboration with the ‘Building Bridges in Burnley’ project and were organised by Ms Wilkinson, RE teacher at Blessed Trinity and Anwar Afrasiab from Burnley and Pendle Faith Centre.

"The aim is to promote community cohesion, to encourage an understanding of other faiths and cultures and to allow  pupils to explore the similarities and differences between Christianity and Islam," said Ms Wilkinson.

250 pupils participated in team games, individual reflection and group discussion.

The trail included visits to three locations - Burnley & Pendle Faith Centre on Barden Lane, Ghausia Mosque on Abel Street and St John’s RC Church on Ivy Street.
