Blessed Trinity  held their Enrichment Days where there were lessons on everything from careers to canine care.

The regular timetable disappeared for two days as students from Year Seven to 10 were given the opportunity to experience different activities - educational, social, cultural and more.

At Blessed Trinity there was Bollywood Dancing and Dhol Drumming, a focus on British Values and future careers, discussing bullying via virtual reality, paper geometry and more.

Students got to discuss dog care with the Canine Education Trust, there was a Food Roadshow, drama classes, talks from the police and magistrates, first aid as well as Burnley FC in the Community educating students about resilience and building their confidence.

Ms Woodruff said: "Learning to live well in a complicated world is something that our Enrichment Day aims to address. We try and give our pupils knowledge to keep them safe and information to expand their horizons and aspirations.

"We try and present information in a fun but thoughtful way using a varied group of contributors from all different walks of life."
