Young Enterprise into North West finals
Blessed Trinity students will be taking their ‘Hazardous Harry’ books into the North West Young Enterprise Finals.

The eight-strong Year 10 team wrote their ‘Hazardous Harry’ book for children aged three upwards and, in poem form, it’s about fire safety.

The book has the backing of Burnley MP Julie Cooper, Chris Waring, the Fire Service Delivery Manager for Burnley, and Tesco’s Community Champion Billie Jean Horne.

The team went to the Lancashire finals and they were triple award winners with  Best Trade Stand, Best Presentation and Best Overall Company.

“It means they will represent Lancashire in the North West Finals,” said teacher Ms Clegg.

“They are an excellent team who have created a worthwhile product. The book informs and educates children on the dangers of fire in the home and they have worked so hard.”
