Blessed Trinity students were jumping for joy after they won a host of medals at a gymnastics competition at the Best Centre.

The school won medals in every category they entered except the Level One individual competition.

In the Level Two individual event,  Libby Stalton-Tracey gained a bronze medal while, in the Level Three individual competition, it was a Blessed Trinity clean sweep with the bronze medal going to Emma Taylor, the silver to Rafaella Musso and the gold Antonia Wright which meant they won team gold.

In the Level One pairs event, Annabelle Uttley and Rosie Railton won bronze medals while Molly Mansworth and Kara James collected the silver medal.

In the boys vault competition Ashwin Stanly won silver and led the team, including Seth Tutt, to a silver medal.

"All in all nine out of our 19 students won medals which we are proud of," said teacher Mr Tasker, a former GB gymnast.
