Pupils from Blessed Trinity received an award from Burnley Tesco's community champion Billie-Jean Horne.
The award recognises the school's efforts to support their local community during Tesco's Neighbourhood Food Collection which collected donated food to support people in times of crisis.
Pupils from Blessed Trinity gave up their evenings to man the collection points in the Tesco store and hand out leaflets to shoppers.
Billie-Jean said: "I was bowled over by the way all schools got involved and it was really moving to see Blessed Trinity pupils give up their time and put so much hard work into supporting the local community. "
It involved the students from all years, from Year 7 to 11.
Student Ruby: "We didn't mind giving up our time as we knew it was for a good cause and it's nice to get an award to recognise this."
Generous customers donated over 10,000 meals at Tesco Burnley during the Neighbourhood Food collection before Christmas.
