Generous Blessed Trinity students have been 'buying' goats, chickens and more for Cafod. Cafod is the official aid agency of the Catholic Church and Blessed Trinity students took part in their 'Buy a World Gift' appeal for families in the Third World living in poverty.
For £28 you can buy a family a goat to use for milk or buy a vegetable garden for £10, chickens for £20, a 'Teach Someone to Read' book for £10, a school starter pack for £25 , emergency water for £33, a community toilet for £85 and more. Gifts range from lifestock, to health and care, water, education and rehabilitation after disasters. Blessed Trinity raised £1067 from their non-uniform day and were able to buy 70 World Gifts.
